Our community garden is suitable for growing a wide variety of produce, including fruits, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Some popular options include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, and basil. However, we encourage our members to experiment with different crops and find what works best for their individual plot.
No, animals are not allowed in the garden at anytime.
Yes, however, the gravel around the plots can be difficult for cane, walker, scooter or wheelchair users.
Plots are available for an annual fee of $100. This fee allows a gardener access to a designated plot with drip water supplied. Each gardener has a small bin in the communal shed for storage of hand tools. Gardeners supply all seeds and plantings for their plot.
There are two types of plots, raised and in ground. The plot renter decides which type they would like and if one is available will be assigned that type. If a desired plot type is not available the gardener will be placed on a wait list and notified when the plot comes available.
